Mainstage Production Auditions
Calling all 3rd-12th grade "Revolting Children"!
Here is everything you need to know about our 2020 Spring Main Stage Musical!
***To audition for our Main Stage Production, your child must be registered for Broadway Kids or Broadway Ensemble. This is an intense program, and we want to make sure the kids are continuing to train while in rehearsal.
This production is designed to give our most serious and focused theatre students a chance to take their skills to the next level. Commitment will be required, attendance policy is written below.
Tuition: $250 (upon receiving role) for extra rehearsal time, scripts, costumes, cast t-shirt, production photos and video.
Location: Auditions/rehearsals will be held at our studio location, 301 W Washington St, Riverside, NJ!
Attendance Policy: Putting together this production will be a HUGE task and will take 100% commitment from all cast members, crew and directing team. It will truly be a team effort.
At SOTC we truly try to be understanding and flexible so our student's can participate in many activities including sports and their school shows, however should your child get cast in this production, we will be asking that they adhere to this policy to ensure dedication from the entire team.
Each actor will be allowed 2 excused absences, meaning we knew about it prior. If an actor gets sick the day of rehearsal, an email or band post will need to be sent as soon as possible! More than 2 absences will be cause for removal from scenes, demotion of role or removal from production. Unexcused absences (meaning we did not know about the absence prior) will not be tolerated and will be cause for dismissal from the production. A list of actor's known conflicts will be accepted at auditions. We will do our best to work around conflicts ONLY if they are provided at auditions, but no promises can be made.
